Hawkins Summit
The trail between Patterson Summit and Hawkins Mountain remains closed until further notice. We continue to work with the landowner to develop a partial re-route.
Vershire Center Road to Parker Road
The trail between Vershire Center Road and Parker Road is now closed. We are re-routing the trail along Chamberlain Road to Parker Road temporarily.
PATTERSON MOUNTAIN TRAILHEAD PARKING AREA
The parking area for Patterson Mountain (at the top of the steep dirt driveway) is closed during the spring until both the driveway and parking area dry out. PLEASE PARK AT THE BOTTOM along Vershire Center Road to access the Patterson Mountain trailhead.
MIDDLEBROOK ROAD to KING HILL ROAD
Unfortunately we need to re-close the recently re-routed trail between Middlebrook Rd and Bloodbrook Rd. We are working to find a permanent solution. For now, we ask that hikers please do not hike the section of trail between Middlebrook and Bloodbrook roads.
REROUTEd
The trail from Vershire Center Road to Parker Road has been re-routed to a road walk on Chamberlain Road (a lovely, quiet gravel road) to the Parker Road trailhead until further notice.
The recent re-route from Middlebrook to King Hill Rd has been closed. We are hoping to find a solution soon.
